Description:
This course covers a wide range of materials and objects considered under the discipline of Art History. Students will focus on art and architecture across different continents, and explore major monuments in these regions spanning from the Prehistoric through the Early Modern period. The primary focus of this course will be on appreciating notable sacred spaces and how they reflect their unique cultural, historical, and artistic contexts.
In most degree plans fulfills a Visual and Performing Arts core curriculum requirement.
