This course provides students with an overview of global health, with particular emphasis on the determinants of health, health indicators, human rights, globalization, current socio-cultural factors, health care and public health systems.
The course will be taught by UT School of Nursing faculty member Dr. Jane Champion as an online cohort course, providing a special opportunity for students all over the world to earn credit while exploring current global health issues.
This is a semester-based online course, with no face-to-face meetings. All students will be required to a take a proctored final exam on May 7; more information regarding this exam will be provided upon enrollment.
