Description: Biology 311C is a fast-paced intensive introduction to cell biology, including biological energy transformation, cell structure and physiology, and gene expression. This is a course designed for biology majors and is "gateway" course to satisfy biology
requirements for a degree in biology, or as a prerequisite for further education in the health professions. We cover a great deal of
material in this course and students must be prepared to spend several hours outside of class every week studying the material from class, the textbook and power point slides.
